Hollyfest 2026 – Top 10 Tips

Posted on 21 June 2026

Hollyfest 2025 at dusk.
The stage and crowd at Hollyfest 2025 in the early evening.

Make the most of your day at Hollyfest with these handy tips!

  1. Arrive early
The gates open at 1:45pm, with the event officially starting at 2:00pm. Arriving early gives you time to get in, grab a programme and be ready for the opening performances which will start promptly on stage at 2:00pm.
  2. Have your tickets ready
We listened to your feedback and have streamlined how we’ll operate the entry process. Please have your ticket QR code open on your phone (or bring a printed copy) before you reach the entrance to help everyone get in quickly. Tickets will be available to purchase on the gate.
    • If you’ve already purchased your raffle tickets online, just head to the Information Stall to pick them up!
  1. Bring your Hollyfest cup
Got a reusable Hollyfest cup from previous years? Bring it along! You’ll save yourself from buying a new one at the bar and help us keep things green. We’re committed to avoiding using disposable cups and cutting down on waste where we can.
  2. Pack a refillable water bottle
Free drinking water refill stations will be available throughout the event, so stay hydrated and help reduce single-use plastic.
  3. Leave the cash at home
Hollyfest is a cashless event. Card and contactless payments will be accepted across the festival.
  4. Check the programme
Pick up a programme or scan the event QR code to see performance times, activities, food stalls and everything happening throughout the afternoon.
  5. Bring a picnic blanket or camping chairs
There’ll be plenty to watch, so make yourself comfortable while enjoying the entertainment.
  6. Dress for the British weather
Hopefully it’ll be sunshine all afternoon, but it’s always worth bringing suncream, hats… and perhaps a light waterproof, just in case!
  7. Get involved
Come along and try something new! Browse our fantastic local stalls, watch the older kids take on the inflatables, or keep the little ones busy with crafting in the Kids Zone. Make sure to enter the raffle and cheer on our talented performers – every pound you spend goes toward supporting Hollyfield students.
  8. Relax and enjoy yourself!
Hollyfest is all about bringing our school community together. Spend time with friends, make new memories and have a fantastic afternoon.

Thank you for supporting Hollyfield PTA – every ticket, raffle entry, burger and drink helps us raise money for projects that benefit our students. Have a brilliant Hollyfest 2026!
