At the PTA AGM held on 13th September, the PTA was delighted to hand headteacher Tom Maltby a cheque for £10,000 to go towards the school’s new Apple Mac Suite. This money was raised from several PTA events in the past year, including Hollyfest. There are other fundraising initiatives taking place to pay for the new Apple Mac Suite, including teachers doing the Three Peaks Challenge.

Hello and welcome to this website, launched by the PTA in September 2016. One of the main reasons we’ve made this site is so we can take online card payments for PTA events. Because PTA funds are handled separately to other school funds, we are unable to use Parentmail to process payments for our events. However, we can take PayPal payments via this website for the PTA fund.
It’s also a place where we can remind ourselves about PTA dates and publish news and pictures about our events!
The site has been set up by PTA volunteer Rosalyn Ellis, who has two children at Hollyfield, one now in 6th Form and the other in Year 9. Rosalyn is a director of Thameside Media, a local business offering digital web development and photography services.
Please email email@example.com if you want to feature something or give feedback on the Hollyfield PTA website.
The PTA would like to congratulate Hollyfield students and staff on their record-breaking exam results for 2016. Results have improved in every level of ability, and we are delighted to see Hollyfield soaring to 75th in the Telegraph and Times rankings for comprehensive schools in the UK. Well done to all the many hard-working students and staff who have contributed to this success, and we look forward to more in the coming year.
